Dr Kelvin Wright, Nottinghamshire County Councillor for Worksop South is running a session for residents on Stop the Bleed, including defibrillator training & CPR.
Dr Kelvin Wright is a Consultant and Head of Critical Care at a local hospital.
The session is open to children (age 8 upwards) and adults, with a maximum of 20 people.
It should last around 2.5 hours on Tuesday 23rd June at 6pm.
This important demonstration and training is FREE and will be held at Nether Langwith Village Hall, Queens Walk.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a critical emergency procedure that maintains blood flow to the brain and vital organs when the heart stops beating. Without CPR, permanent brain damage can begin within four minutes, and death can occur within four to six minutes. By performing chest compressions, you keep oxygen-rich blood circulating, significantly increasing the likelihood of successful resuscitation.
